meditator – teacher – mentor – writer
For the entirety of 2024, I will host a 75 minute monthly drop-in meditation group.
FREE/DONATION WELCOMED
Each month will focus on one of the 9 principles of Relational Mindfulness as I have learned from my teacher Deborah Eden Tull (known as Eden). These principles support our practice of meeting all of life from relational presence, with loving and compassionate awareness.
From my personal experience, practicing relational mindfulness
improves communication and connection,
deepens inner awareness,
strengthens compassion,
helps one to truly experience deep listening
And so much more!
These principles do not require you to have a meditation practice, although I have found meditation to be a useful “training ground” for integration.
For more information, check out Eden’s book Relational Mindfulness: A Handbook for Deepening Our Connection with Ourselves, Each Other, and the Planet (2018).
“Relational Mindfulness encompasses diverse practices that help us to cut through the habit of disconnect. Some practices focus on receptivity and some focus on expressiveness” (p. 35).

Each session will have a general and flexible structure: begin with a brief check-in and grounding practice, an introduction to the principle, a guided meditation and/or dyadic practice, and closing with opportunity to share/ask questions. People can participate at their comfort level. Please review group guidelines below.
This is an opportunity to inspire your aspirations and to evolve in how you relate to yourself, others and the world. It will encourage your commitment to meditation practice.
Meditations and teachings are recorded and uploaded to a private page shared with those who attend at least one gathering. This private page also includes resources to integrate the principle into daily life.
This group is offered freely. However, donation to my work is welcomed. Reach out to me for ways to donate. Your generosity helps me to keep offering these gatherings freely. More importantly, your donation supports everyone’s access to this learning and growing space.
